Charlie Tatman – Vocals and Guitars
Don Retterer – Bass and Vocals
Doug Bryant – Drums and Vocals

Triple Threat
was formed in 2006 when local entertainer and CMG recording artist Charlie Tatman found a need for a tight three piece group to play shows that needed more power than he could generate on his own with his solo act but could fit into smaller clubs with less volume than his full 5 piece band. The perfect solution was his longtime friend and bass player from Bad Influence, Don Retterer and another longtime friend and former drummer from Whiskey Flashback, Doug Bryant. The three of them could fit into smaller, quieter venues, play a wide variety of music and styles, and still “Rock the House”!
Triple Threat  plays a variety of music from country and southern rock to blues to classic rock. There is always something in the mix that is sure to please. Just check out their song list and count how many of the songs are your favorites. They are available weekends and weeknights for any situation that you require music entertainment. Their set lists consists of some jokes and songs you can sing along with and dance to, and their performance is geared toward the venue. If it’s acoustic music for a friendly get together or good old southern and classic rock for the party crowd,Triple Threat
  can deliver!

Charlie Tatman plays acoustic and electric guitar sings and tells bad jokes. He is the front man for the band. He has performed with several bands such as Stardust, Johnny Reb, and Whiskey Flashback , and performs solo as well. Charlie likes most types of music but really likes the “Southern Stuff”. Bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet, Blackfoot, and 38 Special are his favorites. He also likes Ted Nugent, Bob Seger, Garth Brooks and other diverse bands. When performing with Triple Threat he plays a Gibson Flying V, a Michael Kelly Patriot, or his Ovation doubleneck acoustic. In 2006 Charlie was signed as a solo artist to CMG Records, Nashville. Free and Easy, his first CD on that label was released early in 2007 and was voted #5 top Indie Release by Swampland.com . He lives in Grove City with his wife and two children.

Don Retterer is the bass player and back-up singer for the band. Don is a veteran of many past bands such as Love Gun, and Whiskey Flashback, before forming Bad Influence with Charlie. He has many musical loves including hard rock, country and marching band! ( Figure that one out!!) Don has a very active style of bass playing and considers it a lead instrument. In other words, He grooves! Don lives outside of Marysville with his wife and two kids.

Doug Bryant is the backbone that holds the other two guys together. He is a drummer extraordinaire and sings back up as well as some lead. Doug was in the very first edition of Bad Influence in the early nineties with Charlie and Don as well as their later group Whiskey Flashback. Doug moved to Florida for a time and has recently come back to central Ohio. He is a fan of Rush and like all drummers, worships Neil Peart as the messiah. He lives in Marysville with his wife and their son.
